Orthopaedic Surgeon and Musculoskeletal Physiatrist, a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation. The approach to pain management is undertaken by analyzing the various activities of daily living, identifying the risk factors contributing to nechanical overload and thus the pain. The risk factors are within our daily life and influenced by sitting, working, standing and sleeping habits and environment. Once the risk factors and the factors contributing to them are identified, measures are undertaken to reduce the mechanical overload (ergonomics, posture, orthosis, taping) and tailor-made advises are provided. My areas of interest are conservative approach (lifestyle modification and mechanical offload) in the management of back, neck, shoulder, knee, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Every pain has a cause. The need is to identify the same by analysis of the lifestyle.
