Dr. Kamal Dureja joined medical school in 1977, graduated in 1982 from Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi, and secured degree of MBBS from University of Delhi, India. He secured merits in clinical subjects and completed his post-graduation and residency program in field of Orthopedics in 1987. He worked as a registrar in department of orthopedics at Ram Manoharlohia Hospital, New Delhi, an institution under central government of India. He served in this capacity from 1987 to 1990. Thereafter he started his career as private practitioner. He was appointed as consultant orthopedic surgeon in 1994 at sunder Lal Jain Hospital and subsequently at Sant Parmanand Hospital and Max Healthcare, new Delhi. Dr. Kamal Dureja is an Orthopedic doctor with distinction of securing gold medal during his MD/MS and postgraduate training programme at Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He has been a Fellow at Duke University Medical Centre, Durham, North Carolina, USA, Super-Specialised in foot and ankle ailments and operations . He also attended a course at Napean Hospital, Sydney and courses conducted by Synthes International, at Thailand and Chennai, India.
