Dr. Ajay Rao is a consultant orthopedic surgeon with over 12 years of experience as a specialist. He completed his MBBS in 1999 from Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences. He underwent training in orthopedics at the prestigious Madras Medical College and completed his DNB in Orthopaedics in 2008. He worked at various hospitals such as Columbia Asia Hospital, and Manipal Hospital in Bangalore. In pursuit of further knowledge and training, he went to Australia in 2011. He did his upper limb and limb reconstruction fellowship at Epworth Hospital and Monash University at Melbourne, Australia where he was trained in limb deformity and reconstruction, Shoulder arthroscopy, and shoulder replacement. He also has a Hand and Upper limb fellowship from the prestigious Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital where he underwent training in the wrist and hand reconstruction, shoulder arthroscopy and arthroplasty and elbow reconstruction in 2012-2013.
